BDyn is a dynamic posterior spinal stabilization system, designed for use on vertebrae from T10 to S1.
The device is designed to provide mechanical support to the posterior structures of the spine, reducing intradiscal pressure and the load supported by the facet joints, while ensuring the preservation of anatomical movements such as flexion/extension, axial rotation, and lateral flexion.
To achieve this purpose, BDyn is equipped with a silicone shock-absorbing element to absorb compressive stress and an elastomer ring that controls hypermobility and limits the extension of the spinal segment.
The device is available in two versions, one with shorter rods for single-level preservation and one with longer rods for combining 1 or 2 levels of fusion with adjacent segment preservation
- The main fields of application include
- Degenerative intervertebral disc disease
- Spinal canal stenosis
- Degenerative spondylolisthesis grade 1
- Segmental instability
