Velnez® Ear is a resorbable ear plug: it is a biodegradable composite that degrades within 20-25 days of application and is indicated as an ear dressing. It also reduces fibrosis while promoting healing and reducing clotting time. During ear procedures, it can be applied to control compression of the tissues and structure of the middle ear and prevent adhesion. It comes in a cuboid shape, in various sizes, all of which can be cut to size. There are also sizes that can be used as ear wicks for the application of antibiotic drops suitable for ear irrigation, which expand into a cylindrical shape.
