The TCI - Total Control Introducer is a next-generation introducer for endotracheal tubes, designed to facilitate and make intubation safer. This innovative device offers precise control and greater safety in airway management, even in complex situations.
Main Features:
- Steerable Tip: The TCI is equipped with a flexible and steerable tip that allows precise control of direction during insertion. This feature simplifies access to the trachea and allows overcoming the patient's anatomical difficulties.
- Colored Depth Indicator: A colored indicator provides immediate visual feedback on the depth of insertion, helping the operator to correctly position the endotracheal tube and avoid damage to the lower airways.
- Flexible Shaft: The flexible shaft of the TCI adapts to the curvature of the upper airways, facilitating the procedure even in cases of nasal intubation.
- Removable Handle: The ergonomic handle can be easily removed after insertion, allowing the endotracheal tube to slide without difficulty. The quick-release system also allows the tube to be pre-loaded at any time.
- Use with Video Laryngoscope: The TCI is designed to be used in combination with a video laryngoscope, allowing for faster and more precise intubation, often on the first attempt.
Rationale:
